This selection of images of buildings and spaces are of sites I like. Some I like for their beauty, some for their obvious attempt to break the mould. Other colours than grey exist, lines don't have to be perpendicular to other lines, and the odd sign of embryonic or fully developed anarchy is welcomed. Nostalgia meets controversy!

And vision meets reality, in the form of money, occasionally leading to clashes. And then there's the urban spaces conundrum: Who should rule the strees and squares and plazas: People, or the CCTV cameras? Perhaps relating to architecture in modern society should be considered a civic obligation.

One way or the other - Architecture Matters!
